Mouse macrophage inflammatory protein-3 alpha (MIP-3 alpha) is a 7.9kD chemokine, also known as CCL20. MIP-3 alpha is expressed predominantly in small intestine, colon, thymus, lymph nodes, appendix, foetal liver, foetal lung and several cell lines. MIP-3 alpha is chemotactic for immature dendritic cells and lymphocytes via the CCR6 receptor. Source: Recombinant corresponding to mouse MIP-3 alpha, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~7.9kD (70aa sequence) Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 20ul sterile dH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
