MIP-4 also known as PARC has been shown to be chemotactic for T-lymphocytes but not for monocytes or granulocytes. Human MIP-4 is a 7.8 kD protein containing 69 amino acid residues. Source: E. coli Purity: 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC Endotoxin: 1ng/ug (1EU/ug) Form: Supplied as a lyophilized powder from a sterile filtered solution with no additives. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human T lymphocytes using a concentration range of 1-100ng/ml. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 25% glycerol and store at -20°C. May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
