Source: Recombinant corresponding to 69aa from human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 4 expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~7.8kD Biological Activity: Determined by measuring its ability to chemoattract human T-lymphocytes. A concentration range of 1-100ng/ml is found to produce significant chemotaxis. MIP-4, also known as PARC (Pulmonary and Activation-Regulated Chemokine) and SCY A18, is a member of the b chemokine (C-C) family. MIP-4 is a chemoattractant for T-lymphocytes, but not for monocytes and granulocytes. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: ~7.8kD |
