Recombinant Human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-4 produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 69 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 7.8kD.

Biological Activity: Human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-4 is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The Activity is calculated by the ability to chemoattract Human T lymphocytes or human PBMCs, at 5ng/ml.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O, aliquot and store at -20C. It is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) for long term storage. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
