Human macrophage/monocyte chemotactic and activating factor (MCAF) (also known as macrophage chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), plays an important role in the inflammatory response of monocytes and macrophages Source: Recombinant corresponding to human MCP-1, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~8.6kD (76aa sequence) Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile dH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
