Source: Recombinant corresponding to 82aa from mouse Macrophage, Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-5 expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~9.2kD Endotoxin: ~0.1ng/ug Biological Activity: Determined by measuring concentration dependent chemotaxis with human peripheral blood monocytes. A concentration of 50ng/ml produces significant chemotaxis. The optimal concentration should be determined for each specific application. MCP-5 is a b-chemokine (C-C chemokine). Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: ~9.2kD |
Purity: ~99% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC) Concentration: Not determined Form: Supplied as a lyophilized powder. BSA free. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O to 0.1-1mg/ml. Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
