Macrophage Scavenger Receptor I (MSR1)
Description:
MSR1 has been shown to be expressed on microglia and mato cells of the brain but not astrocytes or neurons.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin), ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:50,000-1:100,000
Western Blot: 1:2000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:200 . Does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections, or antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
