Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (formalin/paraffin): 1-2ug/ml for 30 min at RT. No special pretreatment is required for staining of formalin-fixed tissues.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes bovine microtubule associated protein 1B (MAP1B, also known as MAP5, MAP1.2, MAP1(x) or MAP1X). Does not crossreact with other MAPs, tau or tubulin. Species Crossreactivity: human and rat. Does not react with chicken.
