Murine Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-2 (MCP-2) plays an important role in in ammatory response of blood monocytes. Recombinant Murine MCP-2 is an 8.5kD protein containing 74 amino acid residues. AA Sequence: GPDKAPVTCC FHVLKLKIPL RVLKSYERIN NIQCPMEAVV FQTKQGMSLC VDPTQKWVSE YMEILDQKSQ ILQP Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug) Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract mouse monocytes using a concentration range of 0.1-10ng/ml. Reconstitution: We recommend a quick spin followed by reconsitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile water and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
