CCL13 is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as thymus and activation regulated chemokine (TARC). This protein induces chemotaxis in monocytes, eosinophils, T lymphocytes, and basophils by binding cell surface G-protein linked chemokine receptors such as CCR2, CCR3 and CCR5. It can be induced by the inflammatory cytokines interleukin-1 and TNF-a. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa24-28 of human CCL13 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. AA Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MQPDALNVPS TCCFTFSSKK ISLQRLKSYV ITTSRCPQKA VIFRTKLGKE ICADPKEKWV QNYMKHLGRK AHTLKT Molecular Weight: 10.8kD (96aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: 10.8kD |
