Murine macrophage/monocyte chemotactic protein-5 (MCP-5) is a member of the beta-chemokine family. MCP-5 is strongly chemotactic for human monocytes and mouse peritoneal macrophages. Source: Recombinant mouse MCP-5, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~9.2kD (82aa sequence) Endotoxin: 0.1ng/mg Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 20ul sterile dH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
