Melanophilin (Mlph, Exophilin 3, Leaden, Ln, Slp Homolog Lacking C2 Domains a, Slac 2a, Synaptotagmin-like Protein 2a)
Description:
Melanophilin is a member of the exophilin subfamily of Rab effector proteins. It forms a ternary complex with the small Ras-related GTPase Rab27A in its GTP-bound form and the motor protein myosin Va. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, but the full-length nature of some of these variants has not been determined.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:32,000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
