MHC Class 1 Chain-related Gene A (MHC Class I Polypeptide-related Sequence A, MICA, MIC-A, FLJ60820, MGC111087, PERB11.1) |
|
|
Description: MICA is the higly polymorphic MHC (HLA) class I chain-related gene A. The protein product is expressed on the cell surface, although unlike canonical class I molecules does not seem to associate with beta-2-microglobulin. It is thought that MICA functions as a stress-induced antigen that is broadly recognized by intestinal epithelial gamma delta T cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Flow cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000 Western Blot: 1:100-1:500 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100 Flow cytometry: 1:10-1:50 Immunofluorescence: 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
