ADC Enrichment medium is used with Middlebrook 7H9 Mycobacteria Base (Cat#M3895-05).

ADC Enrichment Medium is used as a supplement for Middlebrook 7H9 Mycobacteria Base which is used as a medium for cultivation of Mycobacterium sp. when supplemented with glycerol and OADC. Modification of Middlebrook 7H10 or 7H11 formulations. Note: This product is sold as a powder. Directions per Liter: To prepare 100ml, dissolve 7.853g in 100ml ddH2O. Filter-sterilize using a 0.22 micron membrane filter. Do not autoclave. Contains heat-labile compounds that can be damaged with autoclaving.Add 100ml of the sterile-filtered solution to 900ml of M3895-05 (Middlebrook 7H9 Mycobacteria Base). Storage and Stability:Store powdered medium at 4°C. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a dark, low humidity environment. Prepared medium should be kept at 4°C and used within a short period of time.
