Description: This monoclonal antibody is part of a new panel of reagents which recognizes subcellular organelles or compartments of human cells. These markers may be useful in identification of these organelles in cells, tissues, and biochemical preparations. MAb-2 produces a spaghetti-like staining pattern in the cytoplasm of normal and malignant human cells and may be used to stain the mitochondria in paraformaldehyde fixed frozen and formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues. Cellular Localization: Immunohistochemically, this antibody produces a spaghetti like staining pattern in the cytoplasm of normal and malignant human cells. Positive Control: HeLa cells. Liver tissue sections. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry FFPE/Fr. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50%glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
