Monopolin (Kinetochore Associated Protein, Mam1)
Description:
A novel kinetochore associated protein, Mam1 (Monopolin), plays a key role in the mechanism of meiotic chromosome segregation. It controls kinetochore behavior in meiosis I and de nes a functional basis by which sister kinetochores are directed toward the same pole in meiosis I.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:250-1:500
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
