A useful tool for elucidating melanocyte stem cell regeneration, recruitment and maintenance mechanisms. Specifically ablates zebrafish larval melanocytes or melanoblasts, and this melanocytotoxicity is dependent on tyrosinase activity. Solubility: DMSO (~25mg/ml) or EtOH (~25mg/ml) Molecular Weight: ~267.39 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with DMSO. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
