MT (MGC47838, Malonyl-CoA-acyl Carrier Protein Transacylase, Mitochondrial, MCT, [Acyl-Carrier-Protein] Malonyltransferase, Mitochondrial Malonyltransferase, MCAT) (Azide Free) |
|
|
Description: The protein encoded by this gene is found exclusively in the mitochondrion, where it catalyzes the transfer of a malonyl group from malonyl-CoA to the mitochondrial acyl carrier protein. The encoded protein may be part of a fatty acid synthase complex that is more like the type II prokaryotic and plastid complexes rather than the type I human cytosolic complex. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq] Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (paraffin), and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1,000 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1.5ug/ml ELISA: 1ug/ml-3ng/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
