Muc4 (Mucin-4, MUC-4, Ascites Sialoglycoprotein, ASGP, Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma Mucin, Pre-sialomucin Complex, pSMC, Sialomucin Complex, Testis Mucin, Smc)
Description:
MUC- 4 is a hetero-dimeric membrane mucin, consisting of an alpha unit (ASGP-1) and a transmembrane subnit ASGP-2. This antibody was raised against the ASGP-2. MUC-4 is implicated in diverse biological functions, including lubrication and protection of epithelial cells. MUC-4 has been reported in a number of carcinonomas.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 0.25-1ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
