Description: MUC- 4 is a hetero-dimeric membrane mucin, consisting of an alpha unit (ASGP-1) and a transmembrane subnit ASGP-2. This antibody was raised against the ASGP-2. MUC-4 is implicated in diverse biological functions, including lubrication and protection of epithelial cells. MUC-4 has been reported in a number of carcinonomas. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.25-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
