Description: It is generally believed that Mycoplasmas play a secondary role in infections, most often exacerbating pre-existing disease; but it has been shown that Mycoplasma bovis (M. bovis) can play a primary role. M. bovis is considered one of the more pathogenic species and is the most frequent Mycoplasma pathogen of pneumonia, mastitis, and arthritis in cattle. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:2000 Western Blot: 1:200 Immunohistochemistry (Frozen/paraffin): 1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
