|
Description: Nitric oxide synthase (NOS) catalyses the formation of nitric oxide, an important messenger molecule in functions such as homeostasis and synaptic plasticity. NOS is classified into three types: (1) neuronal NOS (nNOS) or brain NOS (bNOS) (2) inducible NOS (iNOS) or macrophage NOS (mNOS) and (3) endothelial NOS (eNOS). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
