Biological Activity:
A dose dependent induction of choline acetyl transferase activity in rat basal forebrain primary septal cultures by rhNT-4 was measured and the ED50 was determined to be 50ng/ml. Suggested concentration range for in vitro activity studies is 0.1-10ng/ml.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
