Description: Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a diverse group of DNA-based viruses that infect skin and mucous membranes of humans and animals. Some HPV types are the causative agents of cervical cancer, with types 16 and 18 being particularly high-risk. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunhistochemistry: Dilute with buffer pH 7.5-8.0 to desired working volumes. For extensive dilution, protein containing or other stabilizing meduim should be used. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
