|
Description: Period circadian protein homolog 1 (PER1) is a member of the PAS family of protein that is encoded by a Period family of genes, i.e. PER1, and is expressed in a circadian pattern in the suprachiasmatic nucleus, the primary circadian pacemaker in the mammalian brain. PER1 is a component of the circadian rhythms of locomotor activity, metabolism and behavior. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 5-10ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
