PRDX1, Peroxiredoxin 1
Description:
PRDX1 is a member of the peroxiredoxin family of antioxidant enzymes, which reduce hydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides. This protein is also known to be important to protect red blood cells against reactive oxygen species and in tumor prevention.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot:
1:1000-2000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
