PDE3B (Phosphodiesterase 3B) |
|
|
Description: The phosphodiesterase type-3 (PDE3) family is comprised of 2 isoforms, PDE3A and PDE3B. Phosphodiesterases (PDE) are crucial in the regulation of the intracellular level of the second messenger cAMP by hydrolyzing cAMP to 5’AMP. PDE3B has two splice variants that are expressed in adipocyte tissue, hepatocyte, kidney, spermatocytes and embryonic neuroepithelium. Both PDE3A and PDE3B are potential targets for the treatment of obesity. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
