Description:
This antioody is intended for the detection of DNA damage as a result of UV irradiation.
Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma (P3/X63-Ag8) x immunized mouse (Balb/c) spleen cells
Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and DNA Blotting. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |

| Specificity: |
| Recognizes (6-4) photoproducts of thymine dimers that are produced by UV-irradiation of DNA. Does not react with thymine dimers. Binds (6-4) photoproducts in both double and single stranded DNA, although the affinity is less for single stranded DNA. May react with normal human DNA under various conditions. |
|
| Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications. |
