Prostaglandin E Receptor EP2 is a member of the Prostanoid Receptor subfamily. Along with several other receptor subtypes (EP1, EP3, and EP4), it mediates the diverse biological effects of Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). PGE2 has been implicated in numerous processes, including immune response modulation, male erectile function, induction of labor, cervical cancer, control of blood pressure, and asthma. Prostaglandin E Receptor EP2 expression has been documented in eye, ovary, uterus, and vessel. ESTs have been isolated from bone marrow and heart/melanocyte/uterus libraries.

Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 2-7ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
