Protein S, C4BP complex
Description:
Protein S is a vitamin K-dependent plasma glycoprotein synthesized in the endothelium. In the circulation, Protein S exists in two forms: a free form and a complex form bound to complement protein C4b-binding protein (C4BP)

Applications:
Suitable for use in Purification, RIA, ELISA and Western Blot - calcium dependent. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Western Blot: Non-reduced; calcium-dependent
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
