Description:
Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry and Functional Studies. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin sections): 2ug/ml Flow Cytometry: 10ug/ml per 10e6 cells Western Blot: 2ug/ml Immunocytochemistry (Cell smears): 2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |

Immunogen:
Human P Selectin Glycoprotein Ligand-1 (PSGL 1). Epitope: aa49-62; Overlaps the three potential tyrosine sulfation sites at residues 46, 48 and 51 of the mature PSGL 1, a membrane-distal epitope on PSGL 1.
Purity:
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, before the addition of glycerol to 40%.
Specificity:
Recognizes human PSGL 1. Blocks binding of PSGL 1 to P-selectin and L-selectin. Recognizes a membrane-distal epitope on PSGL 1 and blocks binding of (i) PSGL 1 to immobilzed P-selectin, (ii) fluid-phase P-selectin to leukocytes, and (iii) neutrophils to P-selectin under both static and a range of shear stress conditions.
