Enhances Pseudomonas fluorescein production. Recommended in USP for microbial limit tests.

Note: Growth results obtained from type cultures after incubation at 37C and observed after 18-24 hours.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 10145; Good Growth
Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853; Good Growth
Escherichia coli ATCC 25922; Good Growth

Components shown as g/L:
Tryptone 20.0g
Agar 15.0g
Potassium Sulfate 10.0g
Magnesium Chloride 1.4g
Total: 46.4g/liter
Directions per Liter:
Dissolve 46.4g and 10g of glycerol in 800-900ml of dH2O stirring gently with heating until completely solubilized. Add additional water to bring the solution to1L. Dispense into appropriate containers, loosen caps and autoclave for 15 minutes at 121C (15psi).

Storage and Stability:
Store powdered media at RT. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a dark, low humidity environment. Prepared media should be kept refrigerated and used within a short period of time.

Appearance: Light beige, homogeneous, free flowing powder pH
