RANKR, a member of the TNFR superfamily, is a type I transmembrane protein. RANK and RANKL have shown to be important regulators of the interactions between T-cells and dendritic cells. RANK is essential for RANKL-mediated osteoclastogenesis. In the presence of M-CSF in bone marrow cultures, RANKL stimulates osteoclastogensis and activation of mature osteoclasts to resorb bone by binding to RANKR. Human RANK is a soluble 19.3kDa protein containing 175 amino acid residues, comprising of the full-length of the TNF receptor-like extracellular domain of RANK Receptor.

Reconstitution: We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1–1mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for future use.

Stability: The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at -20°C. Reconstituted sRANK should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C.
