Recombinant Mouse Rantes produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 68 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 7876 Dalton. Recombinant murine Rantes is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. AA Sequence: SPYGSDTTPC CFAYLSLALP RAHVKEYFYT SSKCSNLAVV FVTRRNRQVC ANPEKKWVQE YINYLEMS Biological Activity: Recombinant Rantes is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The activity is determined by the ability to chemoattract total human lymphocytes and murine T-cells at a concentration between 1-10ng/ml. Storage and Stability: Store desiccated below -20°C. Upon reconstitution, the liquid can be stored at °4C between 2-7 days and for future use, below -20°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Molecular Weight: 7.88kD |
Source: E. coli Purity: 95% as determined by RP-HPLC and SDS-PAGE. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug). Form: Supplied as a lyophilized powder without additives. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O to a concentration 0.1mg/ml. Working dilutions can be made in aqueous buffer. Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
