Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Neutralization. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:10,000
Immunofluorescence: 1:10-1:50. Direct FA staining of target antigens in a permissive tissue culture system. Acetone fixation of the antigen source is recommended prior to staining.
Neutralization: > 1:256 (Titer)
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA, 0.1% sodium azide. Labeled with FITC.

Specificity:

Recognizes all viral antigens of RSV. Does not react with Para 1-3, Influenza A & B or Adenovirus by IFA. Reacts well with bovine isolates. Uninfected Cell Reactivity: Negative vs. HEp-2 and WI-38 cells.
