RT 6.1, Pta.A2 (RT6 T Lymphocyte Marker, Peripheral T Cells)
Description:
F(ab')2 Goat anti-rat IgG: RPE (mouse adsorbed)

Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from an immunized AUG rat were fused with cells of the mouse P3/NS1/1-Ag4.1 myeloma cell line.

Applications:
Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10

Specificity:
Reacts with the Pta. A2 antigen which is present on the majority of peripheral T cells but only expressed at low levels in the thymus (probably by medullary thymocytes). The alloantigen is also known as Ag-F1, ART-2, RT-ly-2(5) and RT6 agreed at the 4th International Workshop on Alloantigenic Systems in the Rat, 1982. Positive on PVG, PVG-RT1a (DA), PVG-RT11 (AGUS), PVG-RT1u (AO) and PVG-R1-Negative on PVG-PtaDA rats.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
