EN-RAGE, also known as S100A12 and Calgranulin C, is a 10kD secreted molecule that belongs to the S100 family of calcium binding proteins. EN-RAGE contains two EF hand domains and forms dimers and hexamers in solution. EN-RAGE is overexpressed at sites of inflammation and interacts with RAGE on endothelial cells, lymphocytes, and monocytes to promote inflammatory responses. Human EN-RAGE shares 66% and 70% aa sequence identity with bovine and porcine EN-RAGE, respectively; mouse and rat orthologs have not been identified.

Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months at 4C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
