Description: Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a rapidly growing budding yeast commonly used in brewing and baking. S. cerevisiae has been studied intensively as a eukaryotic cell model as it is easy to culture but maintains the internal complexity of plant and animal cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. It is also suitable for conjugation purposes. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Titer: >1:100 in Western Blot Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
