Saccharomyces cerevisiae
Description:
Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a rapidly growing budding yeast commonly used in brewing and baking. S. cerevisiae has been studied intensively as a eukaryotic cell model as it is easy to culture but maintains the internal complexity of plant and animal cells.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. It is also suitable for conjugation purposes. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Titer:
>1:100 in Western Blot

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
