Salmon (Salmonid, a-SIg) (AP)
Description:
This antibody recognize a variety of heavy
chain epitopes on several Salmonid species. As a result,
this antibody is a powerful tools for the indirect
detection of clinically and economically important salmonid
parasites; parasite-specific immunoglobulins from Salmo,
Onchorhynchus and Salvelinus. This antibody can be used to monitor levels of serum immunoglobulins in salmon stock, and responses to specific parasites, or to assess the efficacy of salmonvaccines.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry and Agglutination. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
1:100-1:500
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity.

Species Crossreactivity: Genus: Salmo: atlantic salmon, brown trout; Genus: Oncorhynchus: chinook salmon, chum salmon, coho salmon, sockeye salmon, rainbow trout; Genus: Salvelinus: artic char, brook trout. Does not react with china perch or zebra fish.
