SARS M Protein, NT (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) |
|
|
Description: The SARS (Severe acute respiratory syndrome) Membrane glycoprotein, also known as M protein, is predicted to contain a triple-spanning transmembrane region, a small external N-terminal domain and a longer C-terminal region in the interior. SARS M Protein is the major component of the virion envelope, and has an important structural role. The protein is also believed to interact with the Spike and Nucleocapsid proteins and also to participate in virion assembly. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
