SCP3 (Synaptonemal Complex Protein 3, SCP-3, Sycp3, COR1, MGC71888, RNASCP3)
The synaptonemal complex is a proteinaceous complex that apparently mediates synapses during the zygotene stage and then disintegrates. It is a complex structure that unites homologous chromosomes during the prophase stage of meiosis. It is the result of chromosome pairing interactions and not the cause of them.

Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded sections). Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
