Serotonin Receptor 6 (5-HT6)
Description:
5-HT6 Receptor has been reported primarily in striatum of the brain. Expression has also been seen in stomach, spinal cord, and the lymphoid tissues of rats, including peripheral blood lymphocytes, spleen, and thymus. ESTs have been isolated from brain libraries.

Application(s):
Immunohistochemistry with formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissues. Not tested for other uses.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: 2-12 ug/ml

Localization: Multi-pass membrane protein

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
