SSBP1 (Single-stranded DNA-binding Protein, Mitochondrial, Mt-SSB, MtSSB, PWP1-interacting Protein 17, SSBP) |
|
|
Description: SSBP1 is a housekeeping gene involved in mitochondrial biogenesis. The SSBP1 protein is a mitochondrial single-stranded DNA-binding protein binds preferentially and cooperatively to ss DNA. It acts as a homotetramer to stabilize the displaced single strand of the normal and expanded displacement loop (D loop) during mtDNA replication. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
