SIRT6 (NAD-dependent Deacetylase Sirtuin-6, SIR2-like Protein 6, SIR2L6) |
|
|
Description: SIRT6 encodes a member of the sirtuin family of proteins, homologs to the yeast Sir2 protein. Studies suggest that the human sirtuins may function as intracellular regulatory proteins with mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase activity. The protein encoded by SIRT6 is included in class IV of the sirtuin family. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1.25ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
