Technical Data
SNX16 (Sorting Nexin 16)
This gene encodes a member of the sorting nexin family. Members of this family contain a phox (PX) domain, which is a phosphoinositide binding domain, and are involved in intracellular trafficking. The function of this protein has not been determined. This gene results in three transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms.

Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:64,000
Western Blot: 0.05-0.2ug/ml ~38kD band observed in lysates of cell line Daudi (calculated MW of 39.2kD according to NP_071416.2). In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing SNX16 a band of approx. 40kD is observed. This band is not observed in the non-transfected HEK293.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
