SNX16 (Sorting Nexin 16) |
|
|
Description: This gene encodes a member of the sorting nexin family. Members of this family contain a phox (PX) domain, which is a phosphoinositide binding domain, and are involved in intracellular trafficking. The function of this protein has not been determined. This gene results in three transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:64,000 Western Blot: 0.05-0.2ug/ml ~38kD band observed in lysates of cell line Daudi (calculated MW of 39.2kD according to NP_071416.2). In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing SNX16 a band of approx. 40kD is observed. This band is not observed in the non-transfected HEK293. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
