SNX18 (Sorting Nexin 18, FLJ11997, FLJ32560, FLJ61062, MGC150827, MGC150829, SH3 and PX Domain-containing Protein 3B, SH3PX2, Sorting Nexin-associated Golgi Protein 1, SNAG1) |

Description: This protein encodes a member of the sorting nexin family. Members of this family contain a phox (PX) domain, which is a phosphoinositide binding domain, and are involved in intracellular trafficking. This protein does not contain a coiled coil region, like some family members, but contains a SH3 domain. The specific function of this protein has not been determined. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
