Description: Syntaxin, a 33kD molecule with carboxy terminal membrane anchor, is a synaptic protein identified by its ability to interact with the synaptic vesicle protein synaptotagmin. It contains one 1 t-SNARE coiled-coil homology domain and has been implicated in docking at synaptic vesicles of presynaptic neurotransmitter release sites. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, 11c7entrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
