Description:
Alpha-synuclein is present in brain tissue and studies implicate the protein in Lewy body formation and Parkinson’s disease. This antibody will help to detect alpha-synuclein expression.
Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:20-1:40 for 1hr at 25°C. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control: Posterior cingulated gyrus, lewy body and neurophil staining.
Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
