Description:
Alpha-synuclein is a protein of 140 amino acids and a member of the synuclein family. It may be implicated in the formation of Lewy bodies and the selective degeneration of neurons in sporadic Parkinson’s disease and Lewy body dementia.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:800 for 20-30 min. No special pretreatment is required.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Posterior cingulated gyrus

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
