|
|
Description: Synaptophysin is found in neuronal presynaptic vesicles in brain, spinal cord, retina and similar vesicles of the adrenal medulla, and in neuromuscular junctions. It seems to play a role in synaptic vesicle formation and exocytosis. This antibody will help identify synaptophysin in normal and uncharacterized tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100 for 30 mins. at RT Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Pancreas (cytoplasmic staining pattern) Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C.
