Human TACI (Transmembrane activator and CAML interactor) is a newly discovered member of the TNF receptor superfamily. TACI is a receptor for BAFF (BlyS) and APRIL. Recombinant human TACI is a soluble 17.0kD protein containing 153 amino acid residues.

Biological Activity:
Determined by its’ ability to block human BAFF induced T2B cell survival using a concentration range of 1-3ug/ml.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding ddH20 and a carrier protein. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 3 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
